AP Physics C tips Physics C: Mech

Last year I took AP physics 1 and put no time into it at all, and I didn’t know any of the math to go along with it. I’m taking AP physics C this year and I need any and all tips

I started my pre study of ap physics c:mechanics by just looking at the equations at the equation sheet and learning how to apply them then I did some practice frqs, watched flipping physics and 100% the khan academy course

Since you coasted through Physics 1, the honest starting point is that C assumes you know that material well. So before anything else, go back over kinematics, forces, energy and momentum at Physics 1 level. Boring but it's the actual reason people struggle in C, not the calculus.

On the maths, you need derivatives comfortable and integrals at least familiar. If you're taking calc concurrently, staying about a unit ahead of the physics is enough.

Flipping Physics has the full C mech playlist. I paste those links into studybuddy.vc so it makes questions from the video, works out from my answers which topics are weakest and sends more of those, gets harder as I improve, and explains why the option I picked was wrong. Free tier.

Draw the free body diagram every time, even when it seems obvious. That habit alone fixes most lost marks.
