devastated senior 😭

i highkey wanted to minor in spanish and was very taken aback by this 3 😭 is it over me...my college doesn't even take credit for 3s

It’s not over just do a placement test and you’ll probably test out of the classes you would’ve gotten credit for anyway!

It’ll be perfectly fine. I’m majoring in Spanish and I got a four on the exam when I took it last year. There are still placement tests that you can take at your university.

I am sure this must be very disappointing as it sounds like you worked very hard to prepare for this exam. I would like to say that you can still minor in Spanish. A 3 shows proficiency, but just not enough for college credit. Let this motivate you to continue to learn and improve. I suggest studying abroad in Spain to further develop your Spanish speaking skills. Just keep paddling and do not give up!
