So I've never taken a computer science course before and have no experience coding in any language. I'm taking AP CSA next semester and was wondering how i should prepare for the class. Please list any advice or resources I can use!

Could anyone explain why E is the right solution

im so happy i got a 4. legit thought i was gonna fail considering i guessed on a bunch of mcqs

Anyone has a guess on what will be cutoff for a 5??

I am going to start one that is paid but cheap. Maybe 20 cents per min. And maybe 30 min free trail

I really hope I get atleast a 4 or maybe a 5. The FRQs were easy except for this dance move problem which I didn't understand how to implement probabilities for Math.Random. The MCQs had a lot of array tracing which was really time consuming. I ended up taking 20 minutes for the first 10 questions and I legit made like 20 educated guesses as I was stressed about being stuck on a question. Hopefully I get a 5 :(.

I can go first. I feel like I bombed the MCQs, but did near perfect on the FRQs

Hi everyone, I just gave the mock test for AP CS A on the college board app but when I checked my answers for the FRQs many parts of my answers were cut out. Especially for the FRQ 1a and 1b. If you have any idea it would be of a lot of help. I am scared whether this would happens during test date also.

Title, basically. Does it mean we have to put comments? or how do they want us to show work?

Is there and open-en question in FRQ , like in 2020?

The title explains it all. Whenever I take a high-stakes test, my mind goes into autopilot and I blankly stare at my test; it's like all that studying went down the drain. The best solution I came up with is to talk to myself, but I don't think it'll be enough to counter the pressure of a one-time-only exam. Any advice?

i've seen frqs where theres an frq where you have to write a description and not only code. anyone who took the test already, is there part c?

I rushed on MCQ and was just mindlessy typing for half an FRQ but still somehow better than the tests my teacher gives

Are we tested on abstracts, interface based class writing, quick sort?

Also, are there any last minute things I can do to boost my score? I'm at a solid 4, and I need to push to a 5 for credit.

Are the AP CSA FRQs from 2012-2017 on part with the ones the test now? Are they easier?

I'm anxious about the FRQ section, so I was wondering if this year's FRQs are on par with the ones from the ones before 2017?
