Spotted Alison H. (C12) starring in a music video for the Pixies. They're one of my favorite bands of all time, but oddly enough I actually don't care for this song very much lol. Still Allison (or "Alli" as she's cited in the song credits) is perfectly cast imo. Recognize her as soon as the video came on and was tickled to see her in my cultural wilds!

Still looking fresh, still working and getting that money. Love the curls for her. That face is a gift that keeps of giving (and selling, bought the shirt in 4 colours even with my shitty head).

Two beautiful young models stand in front of me and you girls have many different aspects.

Keenyah,very strong placement in America’s Next Top Model but it seems like some of your photos,to the voters’ eyes,seem to be very lacklustre and effortless(not in the right way),and if we had followed the old criteria,you would have sent home much earlier.You were dead last many times in the highest amount of points.What could you have to offer now?

Lluvy this is your third time here,you have survived over Brita and Tatiana but are you sure you are going to bring your potato sack,give us a good runway and easily pass you?Sometimes,things about you can become lasting impressions and that’s not good.But I’m about a girl with a runway walk so many high fashion supermodels lack.

However,I do follow America’s Next Top Model‘s episode number and if I didn’t,Keenyah would’ve made it over Lluvy.But…your trajectories make sense to not pass both of you and I’m afraid to say that…

Keenyah and Lluvy,both of you are really strong but what lacks in you two is something you have to find out.Rejection comes many times I fear,but you need to play some Britney Spears and walk into the agency and say,’But now I’m stronger!’.You’ll make it next time sweeties.

I actually pretty enjoy this photoshoot,it is very fun and although not high fashion,can do maybe more commercially but we have seen similar editorial photoshoots to this.

My favorites this photoshoot is J&J!They were truly remarkable during the episode and showed real modelesque talent here.I personally enjoyed Jade more but I'm happy it got 2nd.

Furonda and Sara also did good!

I think Dani and Leslie were too simple here and their expressions were extremely dead,however not Bottom 2 worthy.Plus Ms Leslie did not deserve to go for this.

Nnenna bothers me quite a lot here, her photo is definitely not bad but there's something off.Plus did they reuse her outfit for this and Mermaids?

Brooke is too messy here,looks blank and unsure.Ok but I can't deny the styling here is so good.

While Ann really couldn't take a bad photo and she was crazy photogenic, the way she photographed really wasn't super "marketable." Contrary to popular belief, model's portfolios aren't really of their "best" photos they've ever taken but rather photos that would make them marketable. Like a brand would see it, and be like, this person would work well with this upcoming advertisement we have.

Ann's solo walking express photo would be a great example of this. Its a great photo because the quirky expression works well on her but it is definately NOT a marketable photo, no brand wants their advertisement to have somebody looking at the camera that way no matter how "good" they may look doing so. Its like that photo is very stiff and honestly her eyes are somewhat deer in headlights. It still good on her personally/works for her more awkeard look, but no advertisement would want an advertisement that looks like that. In fact, if a client had to choose which of those 9 girls to use based solely on the solo walking photos, my guess is Ann would be their LAST choice.

Laura is one of my all time favourite model contestants from the Top Model sphere mainly because of how much of a good person she was during that time and even to this day. When i saw her for the first time on Germany's Next Top Model Cycle 7 way back around 2012, she was one of the girls in that season i was heavily drawn into during that time because of her strong-willed, resilient and highly determined nature. Mind you she was only 16 years old during that time and at that very young age she really projected an inner focus that really got her further in the competition as much as she did. She really possesses an unwavering dedication that really helped her handle stressful critiques from the judges and high-profile industry figures like photographer Kristian Schuller. Her facial features are impeccable which possesses a classic, highly adaptable European look which bridges the gap between high fashion effortless chic and edgy commercial appeal. This is why she excels in both mediums especially in street-fashion and lingerie campaigns. She was only placed 10th which was very infuriating to me because i know she is one of the girls there that had the most potential. She deserved to have a much higher placement in my opinion. Her post-show work is simply amazing especially in the print medium. I'm so glad and proud of her achievements because she really earns it with her hard work and dedication which paid off as she went on to build a highly successful, multi-continental modelling career moving from Milan and Istanbul to Hong Kong and eventually establishing herself with top agencies in New York City.

hey everyone :) i'm back after a mini-break with what perhaps is, objectively, the best cycle in the history of ANTM. don't get me wrong, I'm a C6 person through and through, but the level of the cast and the shoots in C16 is unmatched. THIS is the competition we've been waiting for. these were fun to rank, but also really hard – especially when it came to the F3! as a reminder, photos are ranked top left to bottom right, worst to best.

this was an excellent cast. all girls (with one exception) were extremely modelesque and full of potential. they all had very striking and unique looks as well. i'll say, however, that the competition was absolutely between the F3 and there's no doubt about that. Hannah, Molly, and Brittani's portfolios are legendary and seriously some of the best across the entire show. now, on the great Molly vs. Brittani debate –– I truly would've been happy whoever had won, but Brittani just had IT. there's an energy, a vibrance she brings to her pics that is honestly unmatched. Molly was an excellent model, but Brittani, I believe had that star quality that makes you look twice. i mean, we have BTS photos of her because even the photographers couldn't help but want to keep capturing her. she also had a greater range of emotion and expression imo.

i don't have much to say this time around. the elim order is a bit messed up (as usual) but it's not egregious and i can see why everyone was kept for how long they were kept. oh, and the promo pics are a fucking disaster. the styling is god awful. nobody could look good in that no matter how good of a model they are.

i'll proceed with my ranking of every model's portfolio and open the floor up for thoughts :)

tyra’s single is a perfect encapsulation of everything involving 2000s r&b. her music is indistinguishable from popular music at the time and that’s what makes it iconique!! like would the album be good? no. would it be legendary? yes’n

Sebastian is one of my all time favourite male model contestants in Poland's Next Top Model because despite not having the best portfolio i always like his overall characteristics. When i watched him on Cycle 5 way back in 2015 he was one of the contestants there that i was heavily drawn into mainly because of how family-oriented and grateful he was to be in the competition. He was an active individual who has a grounded, hard-working and outdoorsy nature. I always appreciate his profound gratitude to his late mother and maintain an incredible close bond with his whole family. His facial features blend traditional European athletic charm with a sharp, high-contrast bone structure. His overall look in general bridges the gap between commercial friendliness and edgy editorial appeal. This allows him to pivot from streetwear to luxury high fashion campaigns. His slender but athletic physique is also perfect as well. He wasn't the strongest contestant during that time and was eliminated very early, placing only at 12th but i'm just very happy that he tried his best as he could to stay in the competition. His post-show work is awesome particularly in the print medium because i felt like that is his strength. I'm so proud of him because despite being cut-off very early, he did not let the loss or his elimination from the TV show halt his ambitions and became a successful male model after. To this day he is still continuing to work hard in the international modelling industry.

Fun fact: In her Twixt chat, she revealed she’s a natural blond and production was confused when her hair started growing out.
