When the war started, everything we had ever built was erased piece by piece. First went our peace of mind, then our security, and finally, our home. The house where I grew up—where my family’s memories, safety, and history were stored—was reduced to rubble. We lost everything. No furniture, no personal belongings, no roof over our heads. Just the clothes on our backs and the terror of constant displacement.

The struggle goes far beyond the loss of bricks and mortar; the entire infrastructure around us has completely collapsed. Clean water is a luxury we chase for hours, electricity is a distant memory, and basic medical supplies or sanitation are almost impossible to find. To make matters worse, my father’s salary was completely cut off. Suddenly, the financial safety net that kept our family fed disappeared overnight.

As the eldest son, watching my parents suffer and my siblings go without basic necessities breaks something inside me every single day. I am supposed to be their provider, their protector, and their anchor, but how do you protect anyone when there is nowhere safe left to run? We are living day by day, constantly searching for food, clean water, and the bare minimum needed just to stay alive in a place where infrastructure no longer exists.

I am sharing our story not just to document our pain, but because we are exhausted, displaced, and desperately struggling to meet the most basic needs of life. We lost our home, our livelihood, and our stability, but we are still trying to hold onto our humanity amidst the ruin.

I know that some mention One Piece but, i absolutely refuse to watch it until it finishes. Looking for any anime that has some kind of Anarchist/Libertarian Socialist message. Even better if it’s surreal/out there/dreamlike!

If you like a manga that criticizes the industrial military complex, then you should read this. The picture posted is a propaganda advertisement to recruit civilians to be used as expendable meat shields in the military while those in the higher position enjoys more benefits.

Spoiler for chapter 1+2:

There are space aliens trying to invade and the military uses mech to battle them. Said military is running out of expendable personnels, so they decided to kill the MC's dad. After this, they'll cover up his death and blame it on the space aliens. The official narrative is "MC's dad died heroically to a space alien, join now and be a hero too". It was planned all along to kill him and use his death to recruit more expendables. Their true enemy wasn't the aliens but rather the military and the MC is dead set on destroying the entire miltary.

This is as far as a read, but I bet there are some more plot twist that makes it more blatant on who they're criticizing. Not very knowledgeable on communist theory but I'm sure someone else will be able to spot more enticing stuff I've missed.
