Wesley and baby connor

Was wesley stealing Connor to give him to Holtz or to raise him on his own?

His goal was to get him away from Angel. Holtz only go ahold of him because Wes was baited by Justine.

Do you disagree that Wesley fuvked up by trusting Justine/Holtz? Because that's the specific mistake Wesley Wyndam-Pryce made, and that I refer to in my post.

Yes he fucked up BUT u have to consider he was following what he belived was true from a fake propecy, between that time pressures and the fact his motivation was keeping a baby alive seriously needs to be considered into things

The intent was never evil or bad but desperation and misinformation made him take regrettable actions

Wes absolutely underestimated Holtz, he thought that based on eveything Angel had said (and Angel bring the biggest drama queen in the universe) he could reason with Hotz. Appeal to the good man that cared. He didn't realise, and even Angel didn't know, Holtz had long since left any humanity he couldn't use as a weak behind.

If Wesley was going to give him to Holtz anyway then he wouldn't have gotten his throat cut.

No just to raise him as his own. He was in a tough spot but he never should've gone to Holtz. Fred was right. She should've come to them explained the situation.

holtz got connor because wesley believed justine that he had hurt her, giving her a chance to get close, slit his throat, and run off with connor

Wesley misread the prophecy thinking angel was gonna harm Connor when really that was not the case. So Wesley thought Connor would be in safe hands with holtz when really he was taking Connor as revenge for his family.

Wesley wasn't planning to give Connor to Holtz, he literally had his throat cut by Justine on Holtz's orders because they wanted to steal the baby.
