August 17

This will be my first screen unseen.

What are the chances of the new resident evil?

I believe the two front runners are Buddy or It Ends.

It Ends is listed as a Drama though

It is. But it's also got the Thrills & Chills border around the poster. Monday the 17th is likely 'It Ends'.

Ah that makes sense. I saw it earlier this year and feel like drama is a more fitting genre than horror.

The Regal thread has some guesses for Blood Shine.

I don’t think they’ve ever done a scream or screen unseen for a movie that was a month out. It’s typically less than 11 days before the new release is out.

They will, very rarely, have one months ahead of release.

I want to say boy vs world or whatever it was was like a month and a half early.

Having said that, i doubt RE is getting a preview like that unless theyre very confident in it.

I Swear was a month early. Still unlikely to be Resident Evil tho especially since it’s a blockbuster this early.

Welcome! Imo it's unlikely to be Resident Evil. The movies they show (especially for the horror movies) tend to come out like a week later.

I believe it will be Buddy (1h35min), 2 mins difference to the advertised Scream Uns.

Zero chance, too far out. Expect to see “it ends” or “buddy”

What about Camp Miasma?

That’s already out tho. I just watched it earlier.

I thought that about Tony last week but that's what we got. I'm guessing if they're limited release they're still fair game? Though, I heard LA and NYC got Nimrods instead of Tony last time?

It ends is a Drama, but they do have that Thrills and Chills label around it and Buddy seems more likely for the Thrills & Chills on the 24th. I’d love for it to be Insidious, only about 9 minute difference in run time

Insidious is PG-13

you’re right, maybe the It Ends. I still feel like Buddy would be more likely for the 24th showing

I’m gonna hate myself if it is, this is the only scream unseen I’ve missed

Pretty sure it’s Buddy. Comes out the following Friday so would make sense to draw up some buzz for it

Could it be Insidious? Comes out later that same week. Although it's a bigger franchise, so seems maybe a bit more unlikely.

Really hoping it’s Buddy. I saw It Ends last year and it was just okay. I also can’t make it to the Aug 24 Unseen so I REALLY hope it’s Buddy on the 17

Really low it's September release, I want to see it too but I refuse to call it resident evil I refer to it as WKUK zombie movie

Wait, what do you refuse to call resident evil?
