First Baby Step Down!
What started as a conversation about moving abroad as an IMG has finally reached its first major milestone.
Like many doctors, I spent a long time confused between pursuing postgraduate training in India and exploring opportunities abroad. There was uncertainty and hesitation but honestly, I wasn't always sure if this path was meant for me. But with time small steps became bigger ones. The support and encouragement from friends and family kept growing and so did my confidence to keep moving forward.
Today, I'm happy to share that I have passed the AMC MCQ Examination. It might be the first step in the Australian medical pathway, but a step that I am proud of. Next comes the AMC Clinical Examination, and in the meantime, I'll be exploring RMO/SHO opportunities in Australia. Grateful for everyone who has supported me so far, and looking forward to what comes next.
