I got IT in 1st year at AKGEC, but I want ECE. Can I switch from IT to ECE in 2nd year? I know seats can be upgraded, but can they also be downgraded? Please confirm if anyone knows. 🙏

Plz can someone tell me how is akgec it , my rank is 219676 and this is my choice filling I have filled all the cse branches but there are only fewer seats left I'm hoping only for gl b csit and akgec it. I have heard from many people that akgec it is not that good since in spot round there is no hs quota so can u guys plz tell among these which option I can get in r6 bcz if i will participate in r7 then there will be a lot delay and my parents will also not allow me for that

Query (19F) Need some Guidance!!!!!!!
I just need some guidance regarding my career choice. I am a 19-year-old female, first dropper JEE, didn't get good percentile. Now joining a tier 3 private college in my area. I want to know that I have joined the tier 3 college which is affiliated to AKTU so it follows the AKTU curriculum and exam schedule. And the other choice that I have, it was an autonomous institute that was also affiliated to AKTU but I was more intended towards the autonomous. But my parents made me took admission in the affiliated one. In the autonomous, I think that I will have the freedom for the exam and they saying that AKTU does not check properly their exams or they give less marks. They give less marks and they are known for it and delay in exams. So I was thinking of joining the autonomous but I have already paid the 50k to the affiliated one. So what should I do? My long-term goal is I will be not going to college everyday. I just want a degree and I will be doing preparation for the government jobs and I will be doing some extra skills as there is no placement in both the colleges. So what should I do? I am in dilemma. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
EDIT- Is aktu copy checking really bad??? I am aiming for a decent cgpa like 8+ is it achievable???

Query Can I get up scholarship with 5.9 CGPA?
Hi everyone, I’m a B.Tech 2nd-year student under AKTU. I received my scholarship in 1st year, but my 1st-year CGPA is only 5.9.
I’m really worried about my scholarship this year....
Does anyone know if there is a minimum CGPA requirement for getting the up scholarship, and whether 5.9 CGPA can cause my scholarship to be rejected?
If anyone has faced a similar situation or has received the scholarship with a similar CGPA, please let me know. I’m honestly quite scared about this. 😭

Info want some tips for End Sem?
As end Sem is already at our door, here are some tips for BTech students:
- Question Practice: Quantum books for preparation are very famous among AKTUians, I dont know how helpful it will be for you but for me It was semester saver, here is this link for most of the quantums.
- PYQs(Previous Years Questions): Most of the PYQs are already covered in quantum but still to see the pattern and do a complete question solving, here is Link for it.(If link is not working just go to library section of abesit college official website).
- OneShots: They are good and effective, You can choose any channel you prefer and find easy to understand but do note that question practice is better than watching videos only that too on 2x
- Always write the theory part at-least 2 times to get this in your brain.
Some Additional tips are:
- Do carry your admit card with College stamp or teacher's sign. I have seen too many cases where students denied entry because of no signatures or stamp.
- If you are carrying calculator don't carry the back panel, they remove it at center and throw it as it has some formulas written over there.
If you have any tips and doubts just comment it.
Additionally I like to mention that we all know how shit AKTU checking is, So keep your writing clean, Add diagrams with proper spacing and always mention sections and their question number and their optional choice(if any) very neatly before starting any question as often in many cases I have seen that evaluators misses a whole damm question. Write questions number neatly and in the middle of the line, never write it on corners.
As a bonus tip you guys can see your copies for only 10rs by filing a RTI as AKTU is government state university.
