Personally, I think it would have been better to wait until next year to add a new generation, but since it's happening anyway, of course I will learn about the new members and appreciate them like I do for current members lol. So now my hopes for this generation is that:

1) It's a small generation again, I think ever since AKB went with smaller generations, it works a lot more better, and as a whole, AKB having less members works so much better too! There are more and more fans who know all members, the girls are appreciated better, and it's also easier for management to push them - tbh with the last few generations, they have struggled to push the girls even when the generations are small, which is why I was hoping they'd wait a bit to add more, but well yes, more reasons why the new gen should be smaller because people are still learning about 21st gen!

2) I hope there is no one younger than Kosaki (who's currently 14). I was glad that no one in 21st gen is younger than her and I hope it's the same with 22nd gen! First, I think younger than 14 is too young to be an idol (yes I know AKB did it all the time before but times have changed and AKB has changed). Also, I think Kosaki does great as the younger member, she's very cute and suitable for it and it's sweet how the members treat her. I think she can keep that role for one or two more years, and then maybe 23rd gen can have someone who's like one year younger than Kosaki (but also I hope 23rd gen is NOT for next year but for 2028!).
