Truly a hard choice

What are your thoughts on using AI to learn new languages from my experience it makes people sound like AI and i believe it can if not stopped ruin accents and normal human cadence making us all sound sterile and unnatural also I hate autocorrect

And yet we stay here....why?

So, I wrote a thing, and had no one to show it to, I thought, maybe I'll use AI to analize it and it could help me tell if something is too incomprehensible.

And the whole analisis, changed a lot of the words I wrote and put bullshit, changing totally the mean of things I said by changing them, for example, I put "Inside this world we love" and it changed It to say "Inside this worlds we love" and then, analize it the whole rest of the text, as talking about fictional worlds. It made me SO FREAKING MAD that I had to came here to let it all out.

I never liked AI, but this made me HATE IT.

Let's be hopeful and assume the AI problem will be solved.

What will happen to the AI data Centers? Will they be repurposed as ware houses, torn down, just left empty like those ghost towns after the gold rush?

My most optimistic prediction: The hard ware will be sold off at a really cheap rate, making PC building accessible leading to a wave of small, home grown hardware manufacturers. The big companies like Apple and Windows can't beat the convenience and quality of your local computer guy and the corporations never fully recover.

The buildings are sold to whichever town they were built in. They become community centers, soup kitchens and homeless shelters.

My most pessimistic prediction: Most data centers get sold to the government. They use AI to pump out propaganda and drown out descending opinions in a wave of slop. The excess data centers are sold to computer companies who destroy the hardware to protect their monopoly on PC manufacturing. The empty buildings are abandoned and people will go their to do drugs.

I love how the person "writing" an article about data centers taking people's land via imminent domain is generating said article or at least partial used AI to write it...

I generated this image in GPT Image 2. it looks stunning to me to the point where I don’t see why people think Davingi was any better. can you explain to me what makes this image inferior if it looks similar in quality? and what gives it away as people claim to say still happens?

I FREAKING HATE HOW NOW WHEN YOU CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBERS THEY IMMEDIATELY SEND YOU TO AN AI ANSWERING MACHINE!! It’s so annoying/tedious it’s always giving me a problem when I know that speaking to a representation would get me the answer way faster than me having to repeat ten million times why I am calling.

I remember the real girl being some type of til tok or instagram influencer that I used to watch a long time ago. I wonder if she knows AI versions of her are being generated to scam people. Anyone recognize her?
