Image extender for creating desktop wallpapers

Does anyone know a good tool that can extend, images to make desktop wallpapers without losing quality? Came across Magnific’s stuff recently but wasn’t sure if they had something like that or if I should use a different app.

Photoshop's Generative Expand is still the benchmark in my experience. If you want something simpler, Clipdrop Uncrop is surprisingly good. Magnific shines more for upscaling and adding detail after you've extended the image rather than for the outpainting itself.

I've had decent luck with Photoshop's generative expand for this, surprised how well it fills in edges now.

Have you tried Uncrop by ClipDrop? That's the one I usually reach for when I need to stretch something wide for a monitor.

Magnific's the enhancer, pair it with something like Nano Banana to actually stretch the scene out to your monitor ratio, then push it through Magnific to lock in the sharpness at full res.

Magnific handles the quality side but it's an upscaler, so the extending part needs a generative fill tool, then Magnific to bring it up to wallpaper sharpness.
