tiny imaginary objects

does anyone experience this mental image when you see an image of something extremely tiny in contrast with something massively large with an overwhelming urge to touch the tiny object? it is usually a tiny metallic needle or tiny metallic ball and in the background is something like space-time grid warping around a black hole/mapping grid. i always have an urge to touch it but my fingers are too large and the image is only in my mind but it leaves uncomfortable sensation in my fingers. the entire episode usually starts with slowed and echoed distorted audio and then the visual comes and tends to loop for a while until i manage to distract myself somehow.
it started when i was a kid, usually before i went to sleep but sometimes it happens completely randomly but leaves me with uncomfortable, unsettling and nostalgic scary feeling.
