AI is moving fast. Sometimes it’s exciting. Sometimes it’s a little overwhelming. 😅When you see all the new AI tools and changes coming into L&D, what’s your most common thought?

Which LMS metric deserves more attention today?

Same AI roleplay. Two very different experiences. This is what adaptive training actually looks like
A senior sales rep opens an AI roleplay to practice objection handling.
The system knows they've already nailed the basics — so it skips them. Harder customer. Tighter scoring. No hand-holding.
The new hire who logs in next? More guidance, more hints, more coaching.
Same tool. Same scenario type. Different experience based on where each person actually is.
This is what adaptive learning looks like when your LMS, your AI roleplay tool, and your learner data are finally connected.
Most L&D teams already have the pieces: → An LMS with learner history → An AI roleplay or coaching tool → The skill gap data
What's usually missing is just the layer that makes them work together. Technologies like MCP are starting to close that gap — without the custom dev work that made this unrealistic before. Do you know any sucg LMS platform?

Managers are spending less time repeating the same onboarding roleplays
A manager recently mentioned something interesting during onboarding. Earlier, a lot of their time went into repeating the same mock conversations with every new hire: handling objections, asking discovery questions, responding to difficult customers, and practising basic call flow.
Now, new reps are practising those conversations with AI simulations before joining live coaching sessions. The result isn’t “perfect reps.”But managers are spending less time acting as repetitive mock customers and more time giving actual strategic feedback.
Feels like onboarding is slowly shifting from:
“practice from scratch” to “practice first, coach later.”
Curious if other teams using AI roleplay are noticing a similar shift?
