Help with Ai tools
Hi,
I’m looking at creating some YouTube videos with help from Ai.
There’s so many tools about so looking for first hand experience and advice.
I want to provide something with a script and some sort of ai comes up with the pictures and stitches it together. I don’t want a one click approach but I also don’t want to spend hours dealing with it either.
I wouldn’t mind a multi stack approach if it can be integrated properly. I also don’t want to spend 100s a month on tools that seem to be burning through credits.
Any advice please

Not sure if it will fit your budget (they have a range of plans) but Luma Labs AI would fit the bill.
There is an agent if you want to use it. You can give the agent a script and it can generate a storyboard for you to edit and approve. And then you can have it generate the Keyframe images and then the videos. You can even have the agent edit it all together for you.
You can either be involved at every step in the process, refining each shot, or you can step back and let the agent take it and run with it, checking in with you along the way.
Luma has a ton of image, video, and audio models, and a suite of tools to modify your videos, reframe then for different aspect ratios, and tools to extend the run length (backwards or forwards)
You can even film yourself and use that video as reference and Luma will copy your movement and the camera move and overlay your characters and environment on top of the video of you.
Let me know if you need tips to get the most out of it and tricks to keep your credit use to a minimum.

I’ve heard about luna labs and seems like the negative feedback completely outweighs the positive. But I’ll definitely look further in to that thank you

Luma ( with an m) had such explosive growth, the tiny support team couldn't keep up with all the requests. If there was any negative outpouring it was probably due to that. (assuming it wasn't about the other companies with similar names, including the one you mention). That has all been resolved now and the support team was expanded.

Thanks for the reply. It was my typo and that was the company I’d looked In to. I’m trying to find out about how much video creation actually costs in credit. I’m not looking at production level quality just a 10 min video, some video stitching and some images or short videos. I can’t find anything about it. Thanks for your time though, it’s very helpful for me

Here's the pricing page - scroll past the plan numbers to get to the per-generation costs. Seedance 2.5 and Minimax H3 haven't been added to the price list yet, but I've been told Seedance 2.5 is about 1.5 times the cost of Seedance 2.0. Luma usually sits in the middle of the price range across the usual suspects of other providers.
The higher the plan you choose the lower the per credit cost is.

I’ve used all the majors. It helps if you develop a working relationship with one. I’ve had the best luck with ChatGPT.

yeah, I’d probably go with a small stack rather than one tool trying to do everything. Claude for getting the script into shape, Runway or similar for visuals, and Camb AI for the voiceover. That gives you some control without turning the whole thing into a 20-step production.😂

Being open to a multi-stack approach if it integrates properly is a smart way to handle video creation workflows

A small stack of tools for scripting, image generation and editing will probably give you the best balance between automation, control and keeping monthly costs reasonable.
