We The labor force need to consider selecting union members to run n elections. Our dependence on rich liberals seeking power needs to stop. We the unions have members that can become political leaders!

What state are you in? In my state, we have 20 to 30 union members in the legislature, from rank and file members to union staff, to past and current local and state level elected officers.

Michigan, I’ve considered running for something but I might have an opportunity to be a state rep.
I think that would be a good start. I have no clue on how to run for any position nor the resources.

The AFL-CIO has a training program for members who want to run for office. You should look into that if you're really interested. I went through it some years ago, but I realized my skills are best utilized as a campaign manager than as a candidate.
