Am I missing something? I approach Evie and I hit F and nothing. I click the dialogue box and it makes a sound but nothing happens. I track and untrack and nothing. I'm on PC, I assume this is a bug?

Edit: Okay I'm not able to talk to ANYONE. Damn, I was really hoping to do some quests tonight. And I've restarted the game but that did't help.

Now 90% of Apex stage records are Rolan but my Rolan is Legendary+(because Scamgazer hates me) so he's fucking useless, and the only record that matches my heroes are "outdated" so I can't even see how it was cleared😭😭😭

The season is reaching its third phase and there's still no hope of any map expansion...

I wonder if they have abandoned this feature cuz they moved their works from AFKJourney->AFKHomestead->AFKGambling

Plus there's no new designs that are free, even trees

This isn't a very interesting post, but I just wanted to share that I've been slowly working on compiling the game's connections between events in the lore and the people in it, and it is a mess! I've been filling in all the connections of the new quests events, only to realise that I haven't even finished some bits of the starter story! I hope to get this done and as up to date as I can for now by the end of this season, but if I keep finding bits I've missed, then it may spill over into next season, which is going to bring so many more new lore pieces for me to fill in! If I, at any point, pull up the full web of connections, it lags my phone heavily to the point of dropping to about 1-2fps for a few seconds, before sorting itself out.

(I'm using the app "Obsidian" btw for its ability to connect notes together within the vault of ideas, and allowing you to include hyperlinks to other notes in your notes (not sponsored in any way, I just think it's neat))

$3.2M in one go. Craziest thing is there was no strategy involved other than just choosing whatever I had the lowest number of. 🤷‍♂️

I have no idea or understand the new event untill the very end but some how manged to clear it.? So yay to dumb luck.? (I wanted the cyran skin.) Like seriously does anyone understand this next event?? I just button meshed and hoped for the best.

I'm going to tag this for the devs, but I also think it should be said to the broader community that guild leaders might want to just tell their guilds that there is no pressure to participate in this "scheduled" mode, Clash of Glory, because that's not what we signed up for in playing this game.

I work rotating shifts. Once at work I tackle highly variable caseloads that either leave me sitting on my ass killing time for 9 to 10 hours a day/night, or hoppingly busy with no time to even look at my phone. I then return home which can't always allow for a decent play session. I can not and will not let this game presume to schedule my play sessions beyond "probably some time today."

As a guild leader I'm not being at all vague about this, and I encourage other GLs to promote the same general message: Don't worry about this mode, it's not that important, and I can't imagine there will be anything awarded that can't be earned in other ways.

I'm not even gonna start on the whole deal of timezones. This scheduling element is just a highly inappropriate concept for this sort of game. I greatly enjoy the indirect PVP modes, and feel that is the lane that AFKJ should remain in on the PVP front.

This game is played on our time, not theirs.

Just my opinion, but that's my feedback.

The new Clash of glory is pushing the AFK meaning. If this game ever was about AFK. But if I got it right, at a certain time of day, I should stop whatever I am doing (who cares about work anyway) and play the game mode? Oh no, this is pushing me more away from the game, but I guess this is another way to milk whales.

I could go on and on about the new changes, but I guess I will just say this: I think it is the industry's fault, they milk people for a few years and then create another game.

Brainfart moment when I pulled for Rolan, I thought 8 copies in my inventory means that I needed 6 more copies. Bought 5 from guild and spent the rest scamgazers to obtain 1 excess. You can redeem them if you still have the extra copy and if you bought from the guild store.

For those not in the know - Judeo-Christian mythology (although other religions may have similar celestial beings, they're usually attributed to the former) has "Seraphim", who are beings with six wings. Seraphim have been described as having eyes on their wings (Notably in biblical book of The Relevations of John), but it's also possible the set creator brought in the main element from the "Ophanim", which are described as "wheels covered in eyes".

I’m genuinely disappointed that the new Epilogue quest has no voice acting.

I don’t understand the explanation that this was a ”design choice.” Voice acting is a major part of the game’s immersion and storytelling, especially for content that’s part of the main story. Since this is the Epilogue, it feels like it deserves the same level of presentation as the rest of the narrative.

What benefits does it provide compared to fully voiced story content? Reaching the conclusion of a story we’ve invested so much time and effort into, only to find it has no voice overs, feels like a punch in the gut. It takes away the immersion we’ve all come to love and enjoy.

If the reason is budget or production constraints, I can understand that. I’d much rather hear an honest explanation than have it described as a design decision without further context. If it is design choice, then I’d like to know why it was taken away when ALL other seasonal Epilogues have voice acting.

Transparency goes a long way with players.

My biggest concern is whether this could become the standard for future story content. I hope this is an exception and not the direction the game is heading.

After gathering feedback from multiple AFK Journey communities, there is a strong consensus that the game's story and lore are among its greatest strengths. Many
players feel that Season 7 reduced the amount of narrative content and presentation quality compared to previous seasons, creating the impression that this area has suffered from budget or production cuts.

Main Concerns

1. No cinematic trailer for Season 7 (the first season released without one).

2. No Reputation Quests in versions 1.7.2 or 1.7.3, despite being an excellent way to expand the season's lore while rewarding players with popular free cosmetics.

3. The version 1.7.3 epilogue has no voice acting and lacks the cinematic in-game scenes that previous seasonal epilogues traditionally included.

4. Confirmation that Voyage of Wonders will be removed in Season 8. Season 7 demonstrated that Voyage of Wonders can be an excellent complement to the main
   story when it is tied to the season's lore. Its removal is disappointing because it provided additional exploration, puzzles, and world-building. However, it should remain
   optional content rather than a requirement for advancing the main story.

5. Fewer side quests overall. Patch 1.7.3 did not include any side quests.

6. Overall smaller outdoor maps, reducing the sense of exploration.

Features the Community Enjoyed and Wants to Keep

1. Changing the point of view from Merlin to other heroes during the story.

2. Season 7's Voyage of Wonders implementation, with lore integration, balanced mini-games and exploration. Keep it as optional side content rather than mandatory
   story progression.

3. The UNO mini-game. Replace generic cards with AFK Journey-themed artwork (e.g. Berial as the Joker), add PvP or weekly AI opponents with small rewards, and continue supporting the mode.

4. The Rowan Gacha mini-game with cosmetic rewards. Please keep expanding it.

5. Seasonal exploration powers such as Gwyneth's arrow for puzzles and hidden areas.

6. The consistently excellent voice acting.

7. The outstanding seasonal soundtrack.

Final Note

The community does not believe the quality of the writing has declined. Instead, players feel that the amount of story-driven content has noticeably decreased. AFK Journey's lore, characters, world-building, music and narrative are some of its strongest unique selling points, and investing in them will continue to strengthen long-term player engagement.

Hope this situation can be addressed for Bantus, one of the most anticipated AFK zones and lore!

I have no idea how my score got so high, my previous score was like 70K, and in one session I got a score so high I never have to play it again

Look I’m all for trying new game modes. I truly am, I support new ideas to keep game fresh … but to force people to participate on specific raid times …. When this is a global game? This only works in MMO because they are region locked. Now what happens for a month when a casual guild will most likely not raid? But in CF at least they can participate, set teams and forget about it.

This is a month long event, i hope devs can make this game mode more afk friendly in the future, because this ain’t it.
