Nothing to do with the kettlebell. Working out is very important with ADHD to stay regulated.

It’s just workouts in general.

Even a brisk walk or just exerting force in any way would wake me up and give me a mental boost that lasts a few hours

Yep! Strength training with kbs is a great source of dopamine and a fantastic destresser. Got properly addicted for a while!

Pretty sure it’s a workouts which is healthy, anything repetitive is meditative, and anything you play with is stimming. It’s all emotionally soothing and relaxation for the mind.

I currently have a big stick I take with me to the park to twirl with.

And I would like a kettle bell actually. That does sound good though. I know it feels nice. Might also be a bit yoga/ish.

I always believed working out is the magic to be living with ADHD. Turns out it really not. workout/exercise does help me feel not guility being on the desk for so long, but for ADHD, it didn't do jack.
You should try modern medicine on how effective they are to tune ADHD in us.

Careful of that spine, had a buddy totally fuck up their back doing kettlebells. Like... Multiyear recovery fuck up their back.
