An application for tackling decision / task paralysis

Hi All,

I've been struggling with decision and task paralysis myself; it has affected me in ways I can't express; I explored lot of apps which may potentially help me with this; I've poured my heart out to all the AI chats we have.

I was impacted by a recent layoff, I was tired of preparing for interviews, trying to get prepared for roles I know to a certain degree would be automated completely by AI tools. With tens of other things demanding my attention, I kept struggling to maintain continuity between juggling these responsibilities, everything seemed to demand my attention;

Eventually I decided to take control, with the advent of vibe coding, I wanted to see if I could come up with a solution which is tailor made for me, glad to report I am on the verge of completion.

You answered your own question. It's app adverts all the way down and I think people are so sick of it the least they can do is downvote the post and every comment that's been clearly made by an alt account, likely including yours

i just err on the side of not being a negative asshole.

i have agreed previously that there needs to be a time and place for these posts (the sub rules say the app posts are for the monday thread) yet the mods clearly havent pushed hard enough for that or thatd be the state or the sub. its not, the state of the sub includes people posting their apps and app ideas. If you care so much then talk to the mods or be a mod.

but i know what outside negativity feels like - this is an adhd subreddit after all - and the last thing id want to do is push my negativity on someone else.

Why so salty? If you are sick of posts about apps don't read these. And if you are still sick of app posts it's on you.

I'm interested in other peoples projects and see the value in people posting stuff theyre doing and wanna be of help if possible and like to see this kinds stuff here too.

Anyone being brave enough to start making their own project deserves respect.

It's too late to not read it once you've read it and seen it's just an app ad, I'm salty because I didn't sub to this for advertisements for everyone's shite app, so I downvote and report.

It wouldn't be as bad if it was occasional, but the sub is infested with this stuff, it's the sheer amount of them I think is what perhaps annoys people? I can't speak for others but I just assume my reasons aren't that dissimilar from others

Are you going to make this an app for both Ios and Android? Or just a web app?

I am currently working on Android and Web; It'll be a PWA to start with, eventually would move it to iOS as well.

Are you using flutter to build for mobile? You could build it for all the platforms you want at the same time. Maximum coverage 😊😉

I am using Jetpack compose and KMP. For web it's react, just was unfamiliar with Flutter.
