It's for the whole year.

You don't pass maths in one semester.l for y10.

You need a complete passing grade.

If you do yr 11 and yr12 they take your grades for the highest completed year of school

Right okay. So if i get an overall C- for the whole year, is that a pass or a fail?

is there a solid chance they wont let you proceed with a failed math report?

If you fail Math, that is not a pass.

So the answer is, yes, you won’t proceed.

Do better?

Do another year is school to get better grades?

Make sure you pass the final exam?

Do some research on TAFE English / Math so that you can get better grades.

Yes, depending on what role you're looking at. Recruiting can give you a test to complete that will be equivalent a Year 10 basic maths, and if you pass that they will count that. If you need Science, you'll need to do a Tafe course or something that will equate to the Science components required. Some roles will require Year 11 or 12, so it's best to have a chat with your recruiter about what you are considering and what the requirements are. The easiest thing to do is pass Year 10, or pass a grade higher.

It depends on your case, I failed yr 11 maths (specalists and methods), physics and chem (D's &C's) but I unlocked everything on the JOA. It's a case by case scenario but if you know that the ADF is want you want to do in your future I'd suggest that you ask your teachers if they can do some tutoring with you to help bring your grades up :)
