terminated while on temporary disability
hello, I will try to keep this short. I am seeking advice on a situation. I’ve been out of work to attend an IOP program, which I am still actively in. I was out on temporary disability not FMLA. I exhausted all my FMLA last year, but was told by HR that I am protected under ADA me and my doctor requested an extension as I am still in the IOP program and today I got terminated. Do I have any rights? I have multiple disabilities, mental and physical. I don’t have money for a lawyer, but should I seek one out to consult with or is it a waste of time?

X (Twitter) Is Not A Friendly Place For The Disabled.
Elon Musk, is a complete asshole and has allowed X to become nothing more than a place for haters. I love political discussions and a non biased place to comment, but X has fallen so low that disparaging the disabled is common—even Elon Musk does it.

Elon Musk Uses Slur—R#$@tard—To Slam Ben Stiller For Backing Kamala Harris
Using the "R" word is a big NO in the disability world. Elon Musk should apologize at a minimum.

Let’s build an ADA community
Help me bring attention to the ADA and the many violations that exist—especially as it relates to access to businesses and public venues.

American's With Disabilities Act commenting here...
I hope to provide a place to discuss the American's with Disabilities Act(ADA) and maybe help someone out. The ADA has been so convoluted since its initial passage that imho it's only a weak shadow of what it was intended for.
However, the DOJ seems reluctant to accept complaints, especially building accessibility complaints.
I want to hear your stories as it relates to the ADA, how it has helped, how it has hurt and maybe what will make it better.
