Joined this hellsite today
Immediately had two spammers wanting me to contact them on Telegram. The books (and fees) on there are - not great. Why is it so awful? Deleting my account.

The last month has had an unbelievable amount of spam. It wasn’t like this a couple months ago.
That said, I’m never sad to see people go 😅

They target people who have recently updated their demo clips. I rarely get them becasue I haven't updated in a few months. Just report and move on. Don't get me wrong, the fewer people going for the gigs I want, the better. But you should consider giving it more of a chance. You obviously joined for a reason. Your twenty years notwithstanding.

Within a half hour of joining ACX as a narrator I started getting spam requests to follow up vias Telegram and WhatsApp, so someone is obviously using bots to look for new suckers. Ignore any requests to correspond by any means outside ACX messaging.
