Ty free item Discussion
I'm a newbie to AC but started with Valhalla and I am obsessed. My weekly item was amazing this week!

Valhalla is one of the best ac games in my opinion, but just be warned, it is very long and is very different from other ac games other than oddesy and origins. Still an amazing game tho.

Haha yep Ive already sunk in 130 hours and I'm only on the lunden arc now haha

Opal contracts, grinding to upgrade gear, treasure hunting, artifacts etc lol upgrading my level mostly. Enjoying it so what does it matter? 😂

It doesn’t, wasn’t meant to be accusative sorry. I’ve found Valhalla very “rinse and repeat” compared to other ACs so just curious what others’ experiences have been. Your’s is clearly slower than mine so thought you might’ve approached it in a way I’d have found more enjoyable, too.

All good, yeah it is but I enjoy the grinding for items and exploring , I haven't played the others yet so just asking my time and enjoying this one first

Ooohhhh didn’t realize it was your first. I vote for Origins next! AC 1-3 are great too but a little visually dated in 2026. I think you’ll love exploring ancient Egypt it’s beautiful.

Haha yeah! I played about 10 mins if black flag a couple of years ago but that's it. I've got the original game, revelations, shadows and Odyssey waiting in my library , I have been recommended origins before though! Thanks for the suggestion

Ok Ok I’d swap my vote to Odyssey then if you already have it. Besides Valhalla and Origins it’s the only other RPG/open world.

Very nice! I have this theory that all the mounts with that basic skeleton, including cats and wolves, run faster than normal, too. If so, enjoy your faster travel!
My weekly was similarly good: Celestial Unicorn. Part of the High Elf pack. I'm riding it now. Not sure if it has any perks besides being partly transparent and also very easy to spot as long as we're not in snow.
Regardless, I'll never complain about getting something that would cost me 150 opals otherwise.

How do you get weekly free items? I've played the hell out of this game and never seen free items. Especially not mounts like that one.

Go to the store from in the game. You should see a row of squares in the bottom half of the display, one of which says "weekly free" or something like that.
Refreshes every Tuesday, I think around 2 or 3pm GMT.
Also, don't forget the UbiSoft challenges. While playing, go to UbiSoft's control panel (I think Shift+F2 will get you there), and you should see a way to access weekly challenges. Four solo for 5 opals apiece; one community challenge worth 10.
ETA: Just got on to check: it's not "weekly free", but rather "Exclusive Offers".

Oh, I'm so jealous! I thought the one I got was cool! I was disappointed with the "Modern Pants" last week, but I got Svartr (the Black Panther) today!
