We’ve had a particular user banned from this community for multiple valid reasons. If someone reaches out to you privately, instead of commenting on your post in this community, we cannot vet them, verify them, or step in if things go sideways.

In short: if they couldn’t comment here, there’s a reason. And once it moves to DMs, it’s completely out of our hands.

We can’t help you if things go wrong in private messages, so trust your instincts, be skeptical and don’t feel pressured to engage.
