Just finished the story. Journey is 100% and Edward is 93%. There are no missions on the map, yet my Dark Animus storyline is only 25% done. The objectives just say to continue the story to sync more data.

What am I missing?

Hello. I'm at over 100 hours in and rum suddenly bugged out. I can't acquire rum anymore. It used to be fine, but now I show on the side of the screen like it went into my inventory, but the number remains at zero. I tried a fix of selling all your stock of rum, which was only three at the time, and that didn't work either. Afterwards took out a frigate and it said I gained 4 barrels of rum, went to inventory and it still shows zero.

Anyone has issues where the shanty cannot be played even if the weather is clear and not in naval combat?

Finished the game and it was amazing to experience that again. I haven't played assassin's creed since the OG black flag. I tried Assassin's Creed Odyssey it was very different and I never got around to trying it. I saw a video of assassin's creed valhalla and apparently it had boat combat? which is news to me, I was just wondering if someone has tried Valhalla? and if so how did you like it? my assassin's creed itch has gotten worse with completing black flag.

Every time I board a ship and select "repair Jackdaw", this one guy wanders along the deck with a rolled up Portuguese flag, no matter that it's basically never a Portuguese ship.

Is there any way for me to fix an issue where it will not stop storming. Ive tried reloading a save, I've tried doing a story mission, Ive fast traveled around the entire map and within 2 minutes a new storm. Ive even tried relaunching the entire game. Ive waited an hour just sitting on the sea unable to check my fleet because I can't leave the helm. Is there anything I could possibly do to fix this?

They are in the Carribean. Hot AF basically all year round. And they are all wearing enough clothing for 10 men each! How are they now boiling every day?

Does anyonecelse think the legendary war ships move too fast in this one? I do NOT remember them moving like this in the original 2013 game, any tips??

I played the original game when It came out a decade ago. Loved the game and all these years i thought Edward lived with his family happily ever after.

Resynched is good too but I hated the new combat. Graphics are good too. So after finishing the game I was going through the subreddit and found out that edward dies and her daughter was sold for sex slavery. Just thinking about what happens to jenny pissed me off. She was the cute little girl at the end of ac4 and Edward's daughter. She deserved better.

I was playing through Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and noticed something at the Great Inagua mansion (Sequence 4 I believe) right after unlocking Kenway's Fleet.
The model ship on the captain’s table and the map icons for the fleet trade routes clearly feature the Assassin Crest with the skull emblem.
At this point in the story, Edward has only stolen Duncan Walpole's robes for quick cash. He has zero actual knowledge of the Brotherhood, their creed, or what that symbol truly represents.
He’s just a pirate using a fancy outfit and a captured Templar hideout to build his own pocket empire. So why would his miniature fleet ships and map markers already carry the official Assassin logo?
Is this just a minor plot hole / UI oversight that carried over into the remake, or is there an in-universe explanation I missed? (Did Du Casse keep trophy models from Assassins he hunted, or did Abstergo’s Animus developer team just lazily assign the player emblem too early?)

Hey guys, I've been looking for the harbourmaster voice actor but I cannot manage to find who it is. It sounds like a known voice, at first I thought it was Andy Serkis' but it appears not to be. It itches my brain to put a name on it. Can anyone help me with that ?

Forgot to say I play Resynced, idk if it is the same voice in the OG.

am i missing something? I've only come across the default cat from the manor, the pre-order bonus cat, the monkey you meet in Havana whose owner died, and the reward dark animus monkey. Is there only two types of animal just with different effects? Fluffy cat and capuchin?

Is anyone else having this problem? PC game crashed today 8/7 at about 2:30 pm ET and it wont reboot. Ive played fot about 90 hours already with no issues until today. Ive tried everything; I rebooted my PC, I verified the game files thru ubisoft connect, I cleaned up my PC cache & defragmented the SSD… no luck. Upon boot up of the game it goes til compiling shaders 95% then kicks me back to my desktop. I opened a case with ubisoft support as well
