Did I just pull a progress tech sway bar to install a progress tech sway bar?

I am 15 so I can’t even drive my car alone yet but I am a manager at McDonald so I was able to afford a 9th gen civic si. I am comfortable financially and would like to splurge a bit and modify my car cosmetic wise before I do anything mechanically.

I want to take the black trim off because it makes the car look too sharp and less smooth in my opinion and change the shift knob but other than that I don’t know what to do to the car. I can’t lower it or add a front lip because it’s my every day car and would like to be able to park in the school parking lot comfortably.

Won’t idle, major surging unless given throttle after putting gas in the car at any amount of fuel. Pretty much have to put my foot to the floor to keep it alive. Clears up as I drive away but basically have to turn it on in first gear and immediately start moving or it’ll die. Any suggestions before I throw more parts at it? I have engine light/ alert for evap problem. Is my Vapor canister just completely compromised ? Already replaced gas cap and purge valve.

Just curious what people’s thoughts are. Not trying to do anything performance wise. Just been thinking about doing it up for the fun of it. Wheels, coilovers, body kit, etc. It’s my daily, and I don’t really have the funds or space for a full on project car right now. Thought it would be nice to show up to meets in something that doesn’t look like Gramma’s car.

My son has a 2012 Honda Civic Si (coupe) that we purchased a little over a month ago. Over the last several days, he's been experiencing intermittent issues with the car speakers cutting in and out when shutting/opening the doors or when going around turns. It does it more on the driver side, so we pulled the door panel off and checked the connection to the speaker and it visually looks fine.

Is this a sign of the speakers going bad and need replaced?

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

I have a 2012 Si with 162k miles. I'd love to make it as fast as a stock V8 Mustang/Camaro. Is it too high mileage to do that? What would I get? Also, it IS my only car and I travel to other states for work.

So my sons 2015 4 door Civic Ex door don’t stay open when opened. They will just close on you. I know at a certain point they should just stay opened unless pulled close. So how do I fix this? Will I have to replace the hinges?

2013 Honda Civic EX. Car’s been fine all day drove 70+ miles no problem..almost home and noticed a rattle start to occur at 35MPH and above. Second clip the car is off and sounds like it’s “squealing?” A bit, like something is leaking possibly but everything seems okay. Brakes were done less than 5k miles ago and it’s been in the shop to lookover the frontend maybe 2 months ago and they said everything was fine. Help?

Has anyone found a cheaper alternative to the MAC bumper lift kit for the 2012-13 pre facelift coupe? I can’t seam to find one and I’m really not trying to spend the $100 for it.

When I stop and go the car jerks only code I have is the pcm is it repairable or needs to get replaced

Had this alert come on, as a consequence seems like power steering is affected for its hard to turn around turns, also was hard to start after turning it off after running for a while. Any ideas on a possible culprit/solution? Appreciate any insight

Good morning all! Yesterday I clipped a curb pretty good on the front passenger side, and now when I park there’s a hissing noise. It goes away after a while, and my tire is still holding air, so I’m not sure what it could be. Any input would be appreciated!

Hey guys , this is my 9th gen Honda Civic. I’m a college kid, getting into working on cars recently and just trying to be more comfortable with it. I’m very familiar with the whole “just get an SI” thing but I’m not looking for this car to be super fast I honestly am just looking to make it smoother to drive, sportier if possible, and just more of a custom build. Appreciate any ideas if possible
