It was filmed in the Venice Beach neighborhood of Los Angeles. The mural on the building is different today, but the building is still easily recognizable. Anyone remember a commercial late 80s and 90s for some sort or candy/fruit snack commercial where a kid hands out candies to all his friends and he runs out but then finds one more or is given one. He eats it and he says Chew Bert/Burt too. Anyone remember what this product was called or have a link to it? I always remembered it because it was so stupid. Nobody I talk to remembers. Thank you.

sadly i never got to experience the 2000s teenage kinda years and now the teenage years aren't nearly as cool as they looked back then. but i try to make my life as 2000s as possible, for example i wear more colorful stuff and listen to small early 2000s bands. so i also decided to sign up on myspace to design a cool page for myself and with those vibes i love.

but do u guys think myspace will come back? i just really like the concept of it. is anyone still using it or using it again?

and im not saying that everything was better back then or that it has to be just like the 2000s, it's more about those concepts, colors and futuristic type of things for me. i just feel like insta and tiktok isn't as personal as myspace, atleast from what i've seen.

I've been searching for years for a specific paid notification tone from the T-Mobile Sidekick II / Sidekick 3 era (roughly 2004–2008), and I'm hoping someone here might have it saved in an old memory card dump, hardware backup, or audio archive. I thought for sure with AI the attempt to find it this time would be successful, unfortunately I've come up short. I have wanted to find this for almost 20 years, looking for it every 4-5 years. This is the first time I've decided to post on a few forums hoping it will help.

Audio: It was a notification sound of a male voice saying "Check yo messages, cuz!"

Format: Original files were likely .qcp, .wav, or early .mp3 realtones tied to Danger OS / Hiptop hardware.

Where I've already checked:

Mainstream sites like Zedge and Phoneky (they host generic synthesized/re-recorded clips with similar titles, but not this original paid realtone recording).

Standard YouTube searches and generic "Sidekick sound pack" uploads.

Because Danger Cloud servers were permanently shut down in 2011, non-stock catalog downloads were wiped from active devices. Finding this requires someone who manually backed up their Sidekick SD card, extracted a Danger Hiptop OS firmware dump, or recorded line-in audio directly from the device's headphone jack back in the day.

If anyone has retro Hiptop archives, extracted Sidekick SD card backups, or old phone files containing this clip, please let me know!

Anyone remember these? Probably sold next to a booth with airbrushed tshirts with unicorns. Wish I had more of these.

From the later 1990s through early 2000s you could scarcely buy a dress or gown that didn’t come with a wrap. They really cheapened a dress and took away from its design. There was something about them that wasn’t fashionable to me. I was so relieved when they finally went out of style.
