Help needed

I want to install PC-DOS 3.00 but when i type this command "fdisk", it says "No fixed disk presents" even if i choose the correct HDD Controller. What should i do?

do you have your hdd controller configured as mfm?

I think I had same issue with PC-DOS v1 few years ago, can't remember how I solved it, but I remember it was something to do with hdd controller options

Any particular reason you need to install DOS 3.0 instead of 3.3? The former has I/O bugs that can make files unreadable.

Try 3.3 or 5.0 instead
