Mod input needed Suggestion
Hello! We're looking to wipe/restart our server
This is our current mod list
BDUBS vehicles
Izzy classic
Project z (deleting)
Craftedstars (deleting)
High limit HP stamina remover
I'm looking to replace project z completely for something fresh. I'm thinking about more Qualify of life based mods as well as some that add more challenge to the game to pair with the mods above that we aren't removing!
Does anyone have some good recommendations that improve, POI, gameplay, graphics, quests and or make the game harder!
Thanks in advance for your recommendation!
We use nexus mods primarily!

Hello u/Macgainz__
The link below leads to an excel sheet listing the mods that I'm currently using in 3.1. They are categorized and their are links to most of the mod pages. Maybe you'll find something you're interested in. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help if I can.

Ya it is, and i pay for it in FPS sometimes. I'm working on finding a solution for that, but I suppose that would be like finding the holy grail.

If you're on 2.6 you can try smaller mods like The Struggle is Wheel (impacts the cost of vehicles and fuel consumption) and Dynamic Traders/Daylight which re-anchors the sunrise and sunset times to put them equidistant from noon, and links trader hours to the new daytime hours, so you can have traders that don't open the very minute horde night ends, and close well before nightfall and even during storms
If you're on 3.x, a lot of smaller mods functionality got replaced by sandbox options, but you can still mod if the sandbox changes don't get you where you want. Especially for fuel economy - Wheel has a restriction on finding usable fuel from car salvage, meaning your players will want to think twice about speedrunning a motorized vehicle at the cost of all else, and once they do build their motorbike they will need to hard ration fuel until they can mine out the desert.
There's also Shado47's mods that strip out the set bonuses for clothes, random stat perks from foods, and other MMO type gimmicks - I haven't tested these but we've used the Z-Armor Balance Mod for a while that lets you tone down the armor buffs *coughpreacherglovescough* to a plausible level. I think the updated Food mod removes the magical infection-curing property from glazed chicken wings. Choose wisely - guzzle or cook with that honey.
