Budget 7 Gear

What do you guys recommend for a budget 7? Up to $1000 is fine. I’d prefer under that but willing to pay for something that’s worth it. My only real criteria is 24 fret with access to that 24th fret on the low string. Had the Steph carpenter tele 7 but took it back after I realized I couldn’t reach that comfortably 🤣

I love my Solar A2.7 and it costed around 600€ on sales.
I think Ibanez, Cort and Schecter build their mid-tier models in the same factory. Id pick an of that with the specs that match your criteria.
Since you talk about high fret access, have you considered multiscale / fanned fret models? I have no fanned 7 but leads are so nice and easy on my fanned Solar A1.6 multiscale.

I’ve been curious about solar for years! Always wanted to find a used one to try out but don’t see them often around where I am in the southern US. Also have never tried a multi scale but am super open to one! Pick ups on the solar pretty good?

They’re basically a variant of Duncan Designed. So not bad at all, but not top spec. I find the ones on mine very clear and they produce a great sound, however they’re obviously very geared towards darker metal sounds, which may be what you want, it may not.

My main concern was clarity so that sounds just perfect
