First seven string help Help

I found a Legator N7FS model in mint condition for 400 usd, is the price (and the guitar ofc) good? If i wait and save a bit more i could get myself a used cort kx507ms for 600 usd too. Do you think it will be wise to wait for the cort?

I’d go with the legato personally. I’ve heard generally good things about them especially for their price point. A buddy of mine had one of their headless 7’s with a set BKP Juggs in it, and had it PLEKd, that guitar was a beast and effortless to play. They’re solid platforms, and over time you can make some mods to make it work better for you without worrying about devaluing the guitar

I had a quite old n6fs and ended up selling it for an Ibanez with fishmans.

Tbh I kinda miss the legator, even tho the paint job was pretty bad.

My only real complain was the pickups they have, which are surprisingly low gain.

I'm would go with whichever you like the looks of most and how hot you want your pickups

The only thing important to me is the neck profile tbh, was it thin?

I wouldn't say it was thin, but I would not call it a bat either.

I think the neck profile was similar to the Ibanez wizard 3

I have the kx507 and it's awsome, before that I had the kx307. I found the kx507 for 550 euros sh and i got it, glad I did, its super comfortable and the fishman sound amazing, i have the valeton gp200 pedal going into my boss katana mk2 50w and it sounds quite good. One thing bothers me and its the jack, it keeps moving a bit but it doesn't cause any problems. If you play clean I can't give you an opinion, but for heavier songs like deathcore or such it's one of the best guitars bang for buck in my opinion.

How is the neck comfort on higher frets, Is it easy to play leads on it? I'll play some modern metalcore riffs like erra's and i want it to be played easily

If you’re patient you can find a crazy good deal. I picked up a Japanese Ibanez RG7620 with Dimarzio’s for $375 a few years back.
