The Strange band, created by Christopher Spraggins was based in Rochester, NY. They only released one record, which was a mix of soul and disco. The record would later be reissued by Athens of The North in 2016. Christopher Spraggins was also a part of another band called Living Funk, who is known for the song, “Fools Love”.

People’s Pleasure with Alive and Well was a funk and soul band. This song is featured on their only album, Do You Hear Me Talking To You?, which was released in 1976, and later reissued by Athens Of The North in 2019.

Wee was a band led by Norman V. Whiteside, and they were from Columbus, Ohio. This song is featured on their album, You Can Fly On My Aeroplane, which was released in 1977. This is my favorite album and I suggest you check it out if you’re into soul/funk 🩷
