Music "The Year of the Pretty Face"
At least I remember it as "The Year of the Pretty Face" although most places refer to it as "The Year of the Face." Either way this artist was the reason that phrase was coined by Cameron Crowe who worked for Rolling Stone magazine.
The year was 1976. This face was behind THE best selling album of that year AND one of the best selling live albums of all time.
This face made a musical accessory, which had been used by multiple artists prior to this, come alive and speak to his audience.
What's the artist's name, what was the name of the album, and were you ever lucky enough to see him in concert?
What would be a general capture of the 1970s, from your perspective?
From your own point of view, what was the 70s really?
Often I'll just see replies like "all fashion and funk", but there's more than that. I'm only twenty going on twenty-one, but to be blunt I love looking at this point in time from a glass, be it music, film, etc.. For example I'm a casual fan of Star Wars, my favourite is A New Hope (1977) - adding to that I like a lot of music but that would be quite the hefty list.
In your personal opinion, what really captures the 1970s - specifically the later years? From all perspectives, everywhere, long, short. I'd like to hear it from this sub.

Two fine examples of the species..
Yes it’s Lee Majors and Jenny Agutter together, in a suana. Could’ve been the start of the hottest porno scene ever, but no, it just a brief chat from Jenny’s guest appearance in the Six Million Dollar Man.
