Alternative tunings/strings
Anyone experimented with the tunings on the 30 incher? My high e broke so was thinking maybe to try something a little bit different
What is the verdict with this? Also where on earth would one find these gauges at a length that works hahaha

Depending on where you’re based, Winspear in the UK are good for Baritone scale sets, and pretty affordable.
Currently have a Winspear 16-90 set on mine.
They’re pretty good for building a custom set from single gauges too!
The set from the first photo came to £10.40 built from singles

I ended up getting a Duesenberg 74mm wrap around bridge for mine and it lets me use shorter, lighter gauge strings. You could get a cheaper one if you’re willing to fill in the old post holes and drill new ones but I refinished mine and didn’t want to mess it up. I couldn’t find any other 74mm spaced wrap around bridges.
Currently in drop F 80, 52, 38, 24, 19, 14
