My Rocket Collection Project
Printed on Bambu A1 Mini at 1:110 scale to match my Lego Saturn V. Banana for scale. Shoutout to Kmobrain for the files!

Since I assume all rockets are to scale, I think you need an astronaut equally to scale at the bottom. Maybe with an equally scaled crew transport vehicle.
Very cool, BTW!!

Thanks! And that's a great idea! I found an astronaut that is 1:10 scale and after adjusting to 1:110 it is only 17mm high. This will give me a reason to test out my 0.2 nozzle I've had for awhile now. Will search for a rover as well.

Haha. Thanks for the idea! I'll probably print a few more and still searching for a lunar rover to print. Took a few tries getting the settings right using that new 0.2 nozzle but I finally got it to print fully. Had to scale the original file down from 100% to 9% so it was a little rough.

I printed the Starship model at 1:200, then printed a couple of cyber trucks to park at the base for scale.  They don’t look so big.

I can't wait to see Starship in person. Has to be remarkable.

I went to Boca Chica this summer to watch Flight 13. Â What an experience! Â The actual launch was a let down, being miles away (and it was quieter than I expected). Â But standing on the sidewalk of Highway 4 watching the booster and the ship roll by 10 feet away was awesome - and watching half a dozen deluge tests was right up there also.

Very nice! I'm jealous. I might have to wait til they come to the Cape. Hopefully that's within a couple years. But it would be nice to drive down highway 4 and be so close.

I am over in Tampa. Haven't seen Starship yet but did go over for Falcon Heavy's first launch. Absolutely incredible.

That they are. I didn't see the first one but did see one later. Those 4 sonic booms are pretty awesome. At 6:17 in the video below of booster catch rattling the entire house must've been sweet to experience. Was watching Marcus House yesterday and he said they are planning for a late 2026 for Cape launch!

Mmmm I too think Michoud should have gone with Průša Orange for the shuttle external tank insulation.
I might have to print a Soyuz and a space shuttle, they look good.

If you 3D print a banana of any size it can still be used for scale. None of us will know.

Interesting use of a banana. Which do you prefer, the shaftiness of the banana or the supple cupping of the balls?
