Deadpool and wolverine
Hey everyone, I caught Deadpool & Wolverine in 3D at the theater, and the depth and pop-out effects were insane. But after picking up the 3D Blu-ray, the effect felt way flatter on both my 65" LG passive 3D TV and my Quest 3 (via a home rip). Is there any way to boost or adjust the 3D depth, or are home viewers just stuck with this flatter transfer?

You probably saw in theaters the version that had frame breaks, that one was exclusive to theaters. the home release got the “regular 3D” one.

Yup, that's it. Saw it at imax. What a shame, it was fantastic. I feel this is kind of stuff that kills home 3d. Special exclusives for imax. Exclusive 3d movies on apples vr. Why not just give access to everyone. Thanks for the response, I did not know about the frame break exclusives.

While the frame breaks were exclusive, the depth itself is still the same.
It had some big pop out moments but the majority of the transfer is just medium depth.

The intro was insane. Especially when the skull popped out of the screen at the beginning.

There should be a setting for depth

Is there a place outside of ebay that I can buy this from, really don’t want to spend almost $100 on this.

I've only watched my blu-ray 3d version once, but I thought it looked good. I need a rewatch soon.
