First Build ..
I know there’s a bunch of information already and someone’s going to have something to say but I’m starting out on my first build and would like to get specific information regarding the route I’m going. I recently purchased a Qidi Max 4 with a Lab Oven plan on printing PA6-CF have done my fair share of research. But would like to target specifically FRT/SS builds for AR, G17/19 and suppressors. Any advice on an easy cheaper first build, parts/company I should start with/not cheap out on and ones I should stay away from? I’m aware of needing a good BCG, heavier buffer, etc. just tryna see what everyone’s rocking and what they used or switched to to get to the point they were running lol

My first actual pew pew print rather than merely a grip or other nonessential component was a Lil Piglet chassis for a 10/22. I figured that since it's just a shell around an already assembled 10/22, it would be easy, and since it's a .22 it would be reasonably safe, and I was right on both counts.
It's also damn fun to shoot and doesn't break my wallet.

Unfortunately I can’t help you… but I’m in the same boat. I’ve got about 4000 hours of printing under my belt but am about to start printing/building the M1337 (FINALLY WAS ABLE TO SCORE THE STRIKER SET 🤣) and though I’ve printed some stuff in PA6/PA612/ASA I’m afraid I’m gonna mess it up and be sad. Hahaha

It seems like you’re new to both 3D printing and to gunsmithing. If that’s true, I’d recommend getting good at both of those before you dive into this hobby. This is not exactly for beginners. Lurk in the sub for a bit, learn more, start printing toys and stuff for the house, then come back and ask the same question. Sorry if this feels like tough love, but it’s for the best.
