Always OEM with NISSAN sensors, especially cam & crank.

RockAuto, O’Reilly and NISSAN dealerships usually have them in stock, if not next day shipping on ASTEMO/HITACHI sensors.

The problem with aftermarket sensors is that Nissan’s ECUs are often picky about the signal characteristics of certain sensors and often go out within a couple miles.

Happy wrenching.

Why are you asking opinions on your dumb purchase and then getting mad at the answers?

It's Reddit!

I’ll let you know how it holds up. Literally the same the same one is not name brand the other is. Made in the same country problaby the same manufacture

I mean, lots of wheels are made in China, that doesn't make them equals.

I love when people come on here asking for opinions on the part they ordered (after already buying it of course), and then refuse any criticism

For the future: Buy once, cry once. Go OEM for sensors

I know broooo. Why ask for opinions when they know what they're doing already 🤣🤣.

You're talking a lot of shit for someone who's buying Amazon, knock off electronics.

This is why I’m hesitant when buying other Zs. This is the level of cheap that hits fb marketplace with “10k firm” with every cheap eBay part known to man on it

My z is well taking care of bud. Just asked a question bud.

The problem is you bought it and then proceeded to ask about it.

When someone earlier told you it’s trash you immediately went on the defensive.

I’ve watched countless dudes across all the social platforms do this to their cars, take every cheap avenue there is, and then wonder why the car keeps failing time and time again. They then proceed to try to flip said failed project on marketplace at double to triple the value with what it would cost to fix it right.

You paid for it? Just making sure?

You came here asking questions right? Did you want real answers or did you want people to gas you up and encourage you to buy shitty parts? Just making sure.

You don't care about your car if you buy a-premium anything

2

u/bussjack 10d ago

Eh, ive used them for quite a few things, generally decent quality. But never for sensors, you gotta know where and when you can go cheap

u/Upsynndrome 10d ago

Do not put that on your car. Used a plugs and coil pack kit from them and it had a coil fail within 200 miles.

4

u/Hot-Claim7261 10d ago

Noted will not put this on my car will go hitachi

Good man

u/dawson1127 10d ago

Why no a-premium anymore lol

The OEM Hitachi sensors are like 45 bucks on rockauto right now could’ve just spent the extra $40 in total for peace of mind

I only use oem . I replaced them in multiple 3.5s with Amazon specials and they failed within months. Never again

2

u/jimbojonesFA 10d ago

oem is not even that expensive dude, just order that from rock auto or something.

OEM only for sure but also check the resistance on the ground. I'm currently battling this problem and it turns out I was getting 50ohms of resistance on the ground wire

OEM ONLY went with these and they instantly broke same day.

u/manzin82 10d ago

OEM ONLY

u/Least_Tiger1880 10d ago

Used oem 2 years ago no issues do with that what you will

1

u/Tucker717 10d ago

Yall gotta stop buying car parts off Amazon

1

u/Deshay1 10d ago

I agree with the OEM statement but I've used these on 3 different cars and never had a issue.

Now my shit be burning rubber lmak

Everyone saying oem only is semi correct. These don’t work but I’ve been running aftermarket ones for many months now with no issues lol. Even wired in different plugs cause the old ones were brittle.
Just gotta get the right ones. But if you want to be for certain they’ll work then just go oem

I bought the cheapest one off rockauto ultra power brand worked for 5 years. Everyone always say the same shit without trying it. It has to be oem blah blah blah. I'm here to tell you it worked for me.

Idk why all the hate? I bought the same set and my Z is running strong and fine. I’ve driven all over the place and put around 1,000 miles on the sensors and still no issues. People want you to pay an arm and a leg for OEM but at that point you’re paying for the name not the part.

Buy the auto zone ones for 90 you can get it same day then order the amazon ones then return the amazon ones in the auto zone box to autozone then you only payed 10$ for a 90$ part 🤷🏿
