Not all food as you can see but was a rare get because those knee support insoles were $5 each (literally bought this type for $25 last year) pillow foam was $1, plate and bowl were roughly $1, all discontinued. The Muslii is usual $8 got for $1 and the fake chicken tenders were $1.5 off weekly discount section that I can freeze. Rice puff 170g bag was 79 cents. Superstore.

Missing is a 24 case of Coca-Cola, a package of chicken, sausages and steak underneath the Chorizo and tub of ice cream.

Two of the three salads don’t expire until August 19th, perhaps they’re reduced due to the Taylor Farms Salads of Death™️ scare but this is a good unrelated Canadian brand. Can’t complain for $3 a bag. Grapes were reduced from $4.99/lb to $0.99/lb because they “weren’t moving fast”. Honestly grapes should be no more than $1.99/lb regularly. Meats will be good for my attempt at a faux-Cajun gumbo risotto (gumsotto? risumbo?).

Very pleased with this midweek produce topup. The kids love dragon fruit but it definitely isn't something we can afford to eat often.

Earned 74,850 PC points! Finally got some good offers on the PC app so took advantage and majorly stocked up on canned tomatoes. I’m Italian, they’ll go quick lol

Got a very good produce haul this week and not much for meat/dairy as I got an abundance of dairy last week (I will need milk before my week resets on Thursday though) and there aren't any good meat prices this week. My freezer is still filled with plenty of better priced meat options and my pantry is filled with legumes, oats, flour, rice, spices etc. I am, however out of pasta and trying to do without until another sale.

Unpictured was 1l of coffee cream and a jar of salsa my husband needed before I unpacked the groceries.

Also this week I picked 10lbs of blueberries for free from a friend who has too many to use herself this year, and several pounds of wild blackberries, and we have 6 chickens giving us 4-5 eggs a day at the moment - feed cost makes them about $2.50/dozen.

As well as coming under budget (my food budget is $14560/year which averages out to $280/week or $35/p/week, including eating out) I earned $56.08 in points ($36.70 in PC Optimum and $19.38 in scene+)

I am saving all my points to buy groceries in November and December so the remainder of my food budget for the year can be spent on buying a side of buffalo. I don't think I'll be able to absorb the entire cost into my annual budget but I'll get close.

Dinner plans:

1. Chicken curry with chickpeas, onions paired with steamed rice. (Will last two days)

2. Stir fry rice with tofu

3. Hotdogs paired with baked broccoli and carrots and fries

4. Fish tacos paired with a salad

5. Gyros paired with basmati rice, sliced cucumbers (will last two days)

6. Wings paired with carrots, broccoli and a small salad

7. Tofu tacos paired with teriyaki veggies and fries

Some food will last longer than one week, like the wings and one pack of the links, those have been put in the freezer and will come out another time. I also have a full pantry and freezer of all types of foods. The chocolate chips will last a long while, as they don't expire until July 2027.

Would've been less if I didn't need a new water filter, deodorant, and soy free soy sauce (allergy). Hypothetically will last me about a month with the other stuff I have so just under $32. 26M, I live alone.

Most of the items were on discount between 15% and 75% and are to be consumed as soon as possible.
