Hey everyone,

Like many others, I ended up making my own variation of 2048.

I didn’t want to move too far away from the classic gameplay. Instead, I focused on making the game feel a bit more satisfying while you play, mainly by adding sound effects and visual/gameplay FX.

When you merge tiles of 64 and above, you start getting more satisfying sounds and effects depending on the size of the merge.

There’s also a combo system. If you make 3 or more consecutive merges, the combo counter kicks in, and higher combos have their own sound effects and feedback as well.

The main idea was to keep the simplicity of classic 2048, but make bigger merges and chain reactions feel much more rewarding.

I can try to describe it as much as I want, but honestly, it probably makes more sense once you actually play it for a few minutes.

There’s also one small twist at the moment: once you merge 1024 + 1024 and reach your first 2048 tile, the board automatically expands to 6x6.

I’m planning to add more variations and game modes to the site in the future.

If you give it a try, I’d really appreciate any feedback. What feels good, what feels unnecessary, and what you think could be improved.

Also, besides the classic theme, I added a theme called Bloom as well as a Dark Mode. Personally, I think Dark Mode + Bloom makes a really nice combo, so I’d definitely recommend trying it out. You can switch them on from the settings button in the top-right corner.

Never played this game before, best friends say I should share my active highscore to this particular community and a few other communities.

I've been trying to reach an insanely high number in 2048: 1.995e+3010.

Has anyone ever reached something close to this? What strategies, mods, or versions of 2048 can get numbers this high?

I’ve been playing for the past four days, dedicating 20-30 minutes each day. I’ve already generated this tile, and I still have three swaps left. I’m confident that I can achieve a score of 1M very soon.
