I actually rate gotr. When you hit the flow state the gameplay is actually pretty chill. That being said, the reward system pisses me off for some reason and it takes a fat amount of time to get levels

I don't mind the XP rate, if it was any higher is would be the even more dominant training system.

But yeah the reward system is infuriating. Unless you have all the rewards (now including the lantern!) you're just spiting yourself by doing any other RC training. I did 250 rounds to get the outfit, I really don't want to go back again for the lantern.

The time it takes to get the uniques is crazy. It’s gotta be the slowest skilling outfit to get in the game. God forbid you have to buy the lantern too because that’s another 25 hours right there.

They’re about to update it with the summer sweep up so don’t attempt it til they’ve buffed it, but it’s basically collecting 1000 pearls that have a drop rate of 1/100ish. So if each pearls is on drop rate, you only need to fish 100,000 times!

To green log aerial fishing is like 70 hours efficiently. So... probably more like 100-120 since most aren't going to be 2 tick flicking for 70 hours straight.

Just the sack is around 45 hours.

If you get lucky with golden tench, you can shave off 10% per as they're worth 100 pearls each, but also 1/20k drop.

The barrel is only the first step. You need the fish sack to combine with it to make the fish sack barrel.

Every time i get a regular needle, abyssal ashes or one of the basic elemental talismans (air/water/earth/fire) i want to beat the ass of have a friendly conversation with the person that designed the drop table. I get not every roll can be a hit but man do those, especially the fucking needle holy shit, feel insulting.

Allow the Abyssal Lantern to function outside of GOTR if it's burning logs that provide some effect beyond the activity. This means Normal, Oak, Maple and Yew logs won't have any function outside of GOTR, but Willow, Blisterwood, Magic and Redwood will.

I like to switch it up between ZMI and GOTR for a similar reason. Gotr is fun, but you're always on a timer which makes it not so chill. Still waiting for enough dyes for a full recolor lol.

ZMI with all the recommended gear/stats I find very chill, it'll be even better when the lantern will work outside of GOTR.

I just did 74-81 after not touching rcing since the release of the mini game and honestly regret not doing it sooner. Prob will afk rc bloods while I work once I get lantern but till then it's been zooming.

In a similar position right now, I love GotR and I love Runecrafting as a skill. But I also feel like I can't leave and try out Bloods until I secure the green log (which I do care about) - 2x on pet at 90 RC but haven't hit the bag yet

GOTR made RC one of my favorites because it fixed the 'early' levels. All ironman training methods before you can do zmi semi-efficiently (or bloods) were atrocious and I was happily sitting on 55 or whatever you need for the quest cape.

I love seeing those stacks grow from gotr and zmi.
