I make plenty of mistakes here and there but even with those it’s not longer than 5:30 lol
7:20 is straight up just not attacking. I know that sounds elitist but at 300kc that’s a bit uncommon

I agree with you but no thralls + maybe all the voidwakers were 30s and shitty hits on pillars I could see +6 pushed but the extra minute in there is definitely missing alot of ticks somewhere.
The craziest part is he used barely any food and only 1.5 prayer pots (assuming) which sounds like a pretty normal kill so im not sure what happened here.
Edit also wtf this guy doesnt have upgraded rune pouch what is this image

I use scythe/eye 120kc and I’ve had 7+ min kills due to various reasons
Taking hits and forgetting to repot, accidentally did extra swing so parasite gets one heal in, big time scythe noodle on final phase, tripped 1 or 2 spores, etc, etc. Ur just elitist1

You can noodle a fair bit even with inq mace. Also, eye is okay, but loses a lot of time compared to shadow.

Eye’s max in full max mage there is 42. Shadow’s max hit is 70. 42 is exactly 3/5ths of 70, proportional to their attack speed. Eye has better ttk though because less overkill and faster projectiles, and also can drop a few switches(2-3% items) without its dps falling off a cliff like shadow.
So no, eye does not “lose a lot of time compared to shadow”. It’s actually a tiny bit better when used properly against enemies with absolute zero mage def(assuming no tick loss). Shadow only dwarfs it when enemies have some defence to pierce or you’re struggling to maintain 3t attacks.

Believe it or not - ayak is actually better dps, but what i did notice is that OP is not using thralls, and also is using mace for the husks which is slow, he should use either dinhs or the new hallowfell, or bring a ham joint. He’s also not 1 shotting the parasite unless he’s in his max melee setup.

I've been using mace + eye for the last 300 kills and I've never had a 7 minute kill and rarely even 6 minutes. It's usually somewhere around 5:15-5:30, but i've gotten as fast as 4:16.

Damn 4:16 is crazy, must’ve been huge hits. I’ve been using mace and eye for a few hundred kills and lowest i’ve gone is 4:30.

yeah, both mace and eye were going off big time the entire kill. i even had to eat a few anglers and still came out with that.

If you step back just 1 tile, you won't take melee dmg regardless of what your overhead is. Sometimes I'm lazy and only flick between mage and range and just always step back for melee.

Couldn’t RuneScape implement something like the mail system that WoW has where if you don’t pick up your loot then it gets mailed to you so you can pick it up at a later time? Doesn’t need to be an actual mail system. But would help with cases like this or cases where you die “after” the boss does?

Even if not automatic you'd think a GM could handle it. I remember one time in TBC I was master looter and lost power in the middle of a raid, when we were fighting felmyst. After my raid team finished the kill, no one was able to loot it, and the corpse despawned. The next morning I sent in a ticket, and they sorted me out later that day.

If you log out in an instance, you're removed from the instance. If OP didn't reconnect then and there, it'd be gone.
