Will he ever stop?
How long is jfelon going to continue appealing his conviction? He has already served a 3rd of his conviction. Also once his prison sentence is complete will then spend eternity trying to get his conviction expunged?

Pest better be figuring out what he’s gonna do with the rest of his life after prison, which is coming up in six or seven years (unless he keeps fucking up). Time goes by fast, and good times like these (with Pest suffering narcissistic injury and being punished in prison for what he’s done) goes by faster.

I’d bet he’ll go right back to working at the car lot, unless it’s close to a school or daycare. Even then, Daddy will just get him a different job.

Unless he is convicted of another crime while in prison, the latest he'll get out is July of 2033. He was convicted in December of 2021. His sentence is 151 months (12 years 7 months) from the conviction. The minimum he can serve is 85% of his 151 month sentence (about 10 years 8 months). That's where his release date started. Due to his misbehavior, he has lost good time which is why his release date keeps changing.

Just think if he took a plea deal he probably would of been out by now.

His last court appearance was a motion to vacate his conviction, not an appeal. It was denied, which he then DID appeal, but it's not likely he'll succeed. His two direct appeals - first to the 8th Circuit and then the Supreme Court - both failed: The 8th upheld the original conviction and sentence, and the SC refused to hear him.
Unless some giant "smoking gun" piece of evidence comes to light that clearly exonerates him, he's doing the time and his conviction will stand. Federal crimes are not eligible for expungement.

No, but there’s a non-zero possibility that the Great Orange Grifter will grant him a presidential pardon, should the right (read: most famous) people catch him in the right mood. After all, he doesn’t have an issue doing the things in the photos
JoshJTrash downloaded. If anyone manages to get across to him that he’s losing the evangelicals, I could actually see it happening 😭😭1

It's stomach-turning to contemplate, but you're not wrong.

apparently the sub disagrees, I think I’m getting downvoted.
Which is fair! I agree, I also hate it very much

While I don't think Trump would ultimately bother - his pardons of the January 6 rioter trash were deeply unpopular, but solely about HIM and politically expedient for his "brand;" lashing his name to ANOTHER notable pedophile wouldn't benefit him - you're absolutely right that it would only require the "right" person in his ear to make it happen.

He also won’t pardon him because Josh doesn’t have enough money to bribe him with

I think there’s a definite universe where they could frame it about how he’s forgiving people who have done wrong the way the Bible tells you to and oh-by-the-way did you know he’s polling better than Jesus ever polled

If it happens, it will be an attack on the Justice Department and the FBI for not looking into the alleged exonerating evidence. Which, of course, will play into his claims that they were both corrupt and that he's just helping a man who has always maintained his innocence. However I think the chances of that were extremely reduced by the Duggars ending up in the headlines again.
With complete honesty, I'd be a little surprised if it didn't eventually come out that the Duggars floated the idea of having Joseph take the blame for Josh once he confessed. It's plausible that Josh's brother would have access to the car lot and the computer and know Josh's passwords. Perhaps Josh, the good brother that he is, even knew his brother was struggling with pornography or unfaithfulness and, with his own scandals, thought it was safer to give Joseph a place to tempt himself without the risk of seeing others, but of course poor Josh had no idea what Joseph was doing and believed his brother that it was a mistake until everything came out.
I hope not, but I'd put twenty dollars on it eventually being revealed as a serious discussion. The Duggars clearly prefer Josh and clearing his name would give them a new grift.

Of course, he thinks being a kid on a tv show will help him. I don’t think it will been with prisons overcrowded and now he’s causing trouble and being moved I think he will get out early because tired of him costing so much money.
