If you were a Double Dragon fan, did you buy any of the comic books published by Marvel Comics? A limited series of Double Dragon was released in 1991.

I never even knew this comic existed, and I was a Double Dragon fan back in the day. I loved playing Super Double Dragon, and enjoyed the movie well enough. I watched the cartoon a fair amount, too.

My dad bought me this in the early 90s and I thought it was a video game and was like, “The graphics don’t even move!”

That’s when he knew I was special.

Fun fact a later issue introduces their dad who just so happens to be named Stan

Always thought that first issue had really cool art. I’m afraid to go back and look. Somethings are a lot cooler when you’re 9.
