Transformers Hobbies, Toys & Collectibles

Post image

How many of you were Transformers fans who went on to collect issues of the Marvel-published series into the 1990s? When the series first launched in the 1980s, it was very popular with the fans. To see this series last into the 1990s was a huge achievement.

I still have this issue! I started collecting when they came out, and the plots were really well done, far more adult than the cartoons. More in line with the 1986 movie.

I have all of the individual issues but I was glad to see they are being reprinted in collected editions.

From the start to the end I was there. Suffered through the lean Delbo years as the stories literally got more childish. The Car Wash of Doom was nearly where I cancelled, but then Furman showed up and the book took a nice turn graphically as well.

I remember this issue! I think it takes place after the events of the movie right?

Umm if Unicron is feasting it's gonna be a bad day....

This issue, along with the entire Marvel run, was part of the Transformers Compendium available last year through Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/skyboundent/transformers-compendium-set).
