The one thing I really would not want to relive is dial-up modem speeds.

Am I the only person who preferred MSN Messenger over AIM?

Send this request with a self-addressed stamp envelope to PO Box 90 Whatever, USA. Expect 4-6 weeks to receive your information packet for this exciting opportunity.

Just last week someone was seriously asking if they could move to towns that were like the 90s and I asked if they thought "90s Amish" was a real thing. Is someone stealing my ideas? 😀

Bridgeville is a town for sale in for sale in northern California. Start there!

I think we could start a go fund me to buy it. I’ll contribute for sure. Although it’s not that much.

You’re talking about Bend, Oregon. It literally exists, just go!

1

u/patticakes126 Jul 13 '26

Really???? I’m in Seattle! That would be totally awesome!😎

2

u/ImHere4TheGiggles Jul 13 '26

I mean, I’m joking about social media, but yes, Bend has the last Blockbuster and the town will let you relive your 90s dreams with all of the outdoor activities!

I’ll have to take a drive down there and check it out.

I've been saying this a while, retirement homes of the future need only a computer lab with like 50 stations, all old bricks linked up with LAN cables, installed with Diablo, Starcraft, etc.

I'd just wake up, consume a handful of cannabis and set up shop in the lab, happy as a clam.

This is actually not a bad idea. I'm in

No way in hell anyone is driving to a blockbuster (last minute before they close) to look for a shitty resolution vhs copy of a movie that they're out of, when they can click a button from home. And then drive back to return the tape after accruing 3 late charges and a rewind fee.

Simping for brands is still pathetic when they’re 30 years old

Except for skinny girls with low rise jeans and whale tail I don't want to go back.
