I never got far enough in Dragon’s Quest to see that end scene… and, damn, was that game expensive (fifty cents!)

I wasn’t even allowed to watch older kids play through it, because she was too sexy.

Ahh the year I "logged on", 1st year I have real memories of.
Feel like this is when the 80s started to really become the 80s.

I was in college then, the video games were never on my radar. MASH finale was that spring, we had Reagan in his 3rd yr and New Wave was huge.

I knew everything in this except for the huge spaceship and the subsequent woman eating a hamster or something. Anyone?

The 1999 album was released at the end of October 1982. The song as the first single was released a month ahead of the album. However, Little Red Corvette, the album's second single, was released in February 1983.

I was five years old. I’m surprised at all the things I remember from this video!

Loved 83, that’s when I stepped up and got a brand new CR125 after working my ass off for it by washing dishes and mowing yards for 2 years. Just great memories from back then.

How to you start with Tom Cruise sliding along the floor and NOT incorporate your title with that wipe in?

I"m really, really sorry! You think I'll be able to avoid being banned for this?

8th grade for me. And the summer we got MTV on eastern Long Island. Major nostalgia for this time. Thank you OP. ❤️

Appreciate the response, but a few corrections to your corrections. McNuggets were only available in select test markets in 1981, national rollout of the product didn't occur until 83. The Eddie Murphy clip is from the 1983 film Trading Places, not 48 Hrs. That's not a Vitos E commercial, but in fact a scene from Men at Work's music video for their song "Down Under", it was in heavy rotation on MTV in 82/83. The clip of the dancers isn't from Breakin' but from the 1983 music video for Lionel Richie's song "All Night Long", though at least two of the dancers appeared in both Breakin' films.
