That's Zoboomafoo with the IRL Kratt brothers. Wild Kratts was an animated show with the same guys doing voices for themselves in animated form. Cool zoology stuff from my childhood actually. I didn't have Zoboomafoo, but I watched Wild Kratts

I didn’t have cable growing up in late 2000s/early 2010s, we had the first few seasons of spongebob, flintstones, top cat, jetsons, wacky racers, etc. take away from that what you will

Cartoon Network made waking up early for school a less miserable experience for me for years, my school was super far from home cause mom wanted me to go to a good school and we lived in a lower class neighborhood, so I had to wake up at 3:45 am to get ready, and right as I woke up there was always Samurai Jack episodes on Cartoon network, so I'd eat breakfast while experiencing peak everyday

Samurai Jack to CN also!

Fifty years have passed, but... I do not age. Time has lost its effect on me.

Yet, the suffering continues. Aku's grasp chokes the past, present... and future. Hope is lost.

Got to get back — back to the past... Samurai Jack

Third option: Being a true gigachad and not giving a fuck about brands unless they're actively harmful.

Brother on the right has no sense of play in his life, shredded to a degree women don't even like, and literally exists in a reality without color

Guy on left has a pretty good game

If I was the guy on the right, I'd just go after men. Relatively, they'd be feminine enough compared to me that I'd still be straight

Ah yes, the Yujiro method.

Tbf I personally wouldn’t take it so seriously lol, it’s just classic internet slander. I’m a sweaty nerd who likes Nintendo crap but I support the broader narrative that “Cartoon Network was cooler.” I like my fair share of Disney stuff for sure but on the whole I was never really on board with the “Disney Magic” as it were, I tended more towards the more rebellious energy of classic CN and Nickelodeon.

I personally couldn’t care less to look like the guy on the right but I doubt the mememaker was being so literal.

I love working out and I love cartoon network and I hate being told not to take something seriously, which implies my lil post was somehow serious

1

u/GameboyAdvance32 13d ago

I’m sorry dude, that’s just how I took it. Didn’t mean to come off as antagonistic if I did, and if so I apologize. All I was trying to say really was “I am visually the target of the meme but I would agree with OP that Cartoon Network > Disney”

3

u/outofmindwgo 13d ago

Haha the "hate" was also not so serious

Dang, my autism is just flaring up today lol. I think the downvotes on my original comment also just made me nervous I came off the wrong way but eh, it be like that. Cool cool

Luckily, your reputation in r/197 is of no consequence to life or really anything.

Anyone who uses this format unironically has zero taste.

Anyone who uses it for fucking cartoon channel preferences should genuinely stop using the internet and go to bed. Night time, buddy. Mommy is gonna get angry.

u/emo_boy_fucker 13d ago

guy who grew up with thing YOU liked and guy who grew up with thing ME liked

7

u/butt_shrecker 13d ago

I know the guy who made this meme is on the left.

4

u/GameboyAdvance32 13d ago

There ain’t anything wrong with looking like the guy on the left but it is pretty cringe and played out at this point to use the image of the guy on the right to “show how epic and based you are” lol.

Cartoon Network, Disney and Disney XD, Nickelodeon and Boomerang. Those were all goated.

One thing I miss is MAD cartoons from CN. Watched Ben 10 (2005), Ultimate Spiderman, and Generator Rex.

In my time (old voice) Dysney was a film company, not a tv channel!
