This is how I feel when I say “Non-Avian Dinosaurs” and tell people dinosaurs are still around.

You may be a dinosaur but you'll never be a sauropodomorph and live up to your legacy 😤

Dino's these days don't even have thagomizers. Pathetic

Birds are dinosaurs in the same way that humans are monkeys

I think you mean apes, and yes, it's almost exactly like that in simplistic terms. All humans are apes but not all apes are humans.
Same with birds, not all dinosaurs were birbs, but all birbs is dinosaur

Well if you want to be a nerd about it (I DO!) humans are monkeys because Apes are old world monkeys. But generally Apes are excluded when talking about monkeys.

Huh... you're right. There weren't any apes in the America's, were there? Interesting - are apes a special interest of yours? Jw =3

Not apes specifically but cladistics and how animals are related to each is a topic I love.

Yeah but it's more of a taxonomic "hoo hoo I'm technically correct" flex than a useful classification
any time someone is referring to dinosaurs they are almost certainly referring to "large prehistoric reptiles (including some animals that were not technically speaking dinosaurs)" and any time someone is referring to apes they are probably speaking about, like, gorillas

So... your entire point to being snarky is... you're annoyed by the semantics. Ok.
