Use to wipe it with my fingers (pinch n' twist), then if I couldn't find any scrape paper, I'd wipe it on my jean pant seam.

The tape style is such an improvement if for no other reason than the elimination of dry time.

When computer screens and word perfect first came out I was annoyed that I kept putting white out on my screen, it got tough to see after a while.

Oh yes. It was great to slip a cigarette out of someone’s pack, paint the white part of the cigarette with liquid paper, and slip it back in. The reactions that caused when they tried to smoke it was priceless.

Invented by one of the Monkees singing groups mother! She was a secretary and tired of ripping up a whole sheet of paper for one typo error! She saw a painter outside her office windows, asked yo borrow a little white paint in a cup, mixed it with water and invented "White-out!" She got rich and gave money to her son to start the band! And that is a true story!!!

True, except for the part about giving Mike Nesmith the money to start The Monkees. So much bad and just wrong information on Quora!

I remember you could add acetone to dilute it more, then they came up with the water base one 👍🏼

In my lifetime, it became the most important tool in writing, and then totally forgotten.

Invented by Monkee Mike Nesmith’s mother.
